The theme of this multisectoral, intra-regional trade fair is Creating Value, Enhancing Growth.
It will therefore focus on equipment and expertise for agricultural development; machinery and goods for infrastructural development; machinery and goods for value addition in mining, manufacturing and tourism; machinery and goods for ICT development; consultancy services and products for energy and water provision; and investment in agriculture, tourism, mining and manufacturing.
The three exclusive business days are on 23-25 April and the fair will be open to the general public on 26-27 April.
There is also an International Business Conference on 24 April focusing on Building Value and Enhancing Sustainable Growth: The Socio-Economic Transformation of
Zimbabwe. Speakers from respective government ministries will give an overview of policy initiatives that support socioeconomic transformation in the country. They
will be followed by representatives from the World Bank and other multi-lateral institutions, as well as local industrialists, economists and commentators. The registration fee for this one-day conference is $150 and the deadline for bookings is 19 April.
PakPrint 2013, the 16th edition of Zimbabwe’s only international specialised exhibition for the packaging and printing and associated industries, will be held in conjunction
with the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.
This exhibition is aimed at buyers, designers and marketing professionals from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the Common Market for Eastern
and Southern Africa (COMESA) regional blocs who are looking for equipment and accessories to enhance the quality and visual presentation of their services as well as food and beverage products, chemicals and agrochemicals, petroleum products, soap and detergents, household consumer products, industrial products, paper, pharmaceuticals, tobacco, toiletries, cosmetics, and horticultural products.
The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Company expects exhibitors from Botswana, China, Egypt, Ghana, Korea, Mozambique, Namibia, Pakistan, Russia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe to participate at PakPrint 2013.
