The organisers of Propak Africa have decided to take the continent’s largest printing, packaging and plastics exhibition to Kenya.
Propak East Africa will be the first dedicated international industry exhibition that will draw upon the success of last year’s launch in Nigeria as well as the long-serving Cape Town and Johannesburg events. It will run on 1-3 April 2014 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre and hopes to attract 100 local and international companies.
London-based Montgomery along with its Kenyan partner, Events and Conference Organisers (the largest and longest-serving event organisers in East Africa), have said that the industry as a whole is incredibly enthusiastic about the event.
Business development manager, Alexander Angus, adds: “Having spoken personally to all the African and international exhibitors at the recent Propak Africa 2013 expo in Johannesburg, the interest in the event has exceeded our expectations. It is clear that our clients are greatly interested in the East African region and this event will provide them with a trusted platform.”
As a city, Nairobi is regarded as the hub of East Africa and is attracting large international corporations that are looking for consistent economic growth and a central location to export across Africa.
