New conference to focus on continued development in East Africa

An AidEX Africa conference will for the first time take place in Nairobi on 5 and 6 June this year. The satellite event of the annual AidEx Brussels affair that started about three years ago is focussed on innovation and development within the aid sector.
The event, a partnership of Kenya Red Cross, is aimed at individuals who are interested in continued development in the East African region. It will be hosted at the Boma hotel.
Among the high profile expert speakers to attend are Dr Abbas Gullet, secretary general of Kenya Red Cross Society; Bob Collymore, CEO Safaricom; Aldo Biondi, head of the regional support office at the European Commission and ambassador Dennis Awori, chairman of Toyota Kenya Limited.
AidEx Africa is an invitation-only event. Those who want to attend should email ashleigh.ralfe@centaur.co.uk to request an invitation.  – Africanreview.com
