Called the Traymaster, it is the first double-contact automatic plate freezer of its kind. It has plates positioned both above and below the product, putting pressure on the food and moulding it into blocks.
The Traymaster can operate to minus 38™  °C and is suitable for freezing many products, including meat, vegetables, ice cream, packaged fish and pre-cooked meals in cartons, bags or trays. The unit is electrically driven and has a touch screen panel.
The Traymaster is relatively quiet in operation, as the use of hydraulic or pneumatic air has been avoided.
